Dona Nduwayezu

Hello! I'm Dona Nduwayezu, a Burundian with an unusual career path that blends technology and business.

My journey started with a curiosity for computers that led me to Guangdong Pharmaceutical University in China, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology. There, I learned Java, C Programming, Web Development, and Database Management — skills that would later help me build this very website from scratch.

But life had other plans. When I returned to Burundi, I started selling kitchenware at Siyoni Market in Bujumbura. What began as a small venture grew into my daily reality — and today, I continue selling kitchenware while coding, designing websites, and dreaming about how technology can help transform tourism in Burundi.

Beyond my own projects, I've had the privilege of helping local businesses modernize their operations. I contributed to building management systems for shops, pharmacies, and supermarkets — streamlining their inventory, sales, and record-keeping. I've also assisted with installing security systems (CCTV, access control) and communication systems (intercoms, small business phone networks) to help establishments run more safely and efficiently. Additionally, I've taught coding to others — sharing knowledge in web development, programming fundamentals, and practical software building.
